Rock Collecting

People have all sorts of hobbies. It is very important in life to have hobbies, to do something out of sheer passion which helps you unwind and unravel the deeper being of you to yourself. A hobbies a person has depends from a person to person. Some like playing and learning to play a musical instrument like a guitar or an electric organ in their spare time. Some like to paint and pursue painting and sketching as a hobby. While a lot of people pursue a physical activity, rigorous or otherwise, like Trekking, Marathon Preparation and Rock Climbing as a hobby. But there are people in the World who like collecting things and pursue collection of things as a hobby. People collect stamps, people collect coins all the time but there are also people who collect all types of similarly functioning electronic gadgets in the world and there are also people who like Rock Collecting and pursue that as a hobby. There is no better hobby or a worse hobby. There are only hobbies a man likes to pursue and how good or bad he is at the hobby tells a lot about the character of the person.

Rock Collecting is one such hobby where a man collecting rocks has his collected rocks talk a lot about him. Like a lot of poets and philosophers say, what we are and our way of life is reflected in the things we do and how we do it. Similarly, a person can have Rock Collecting as a hobby and put the most of his passion, intellect, skill and concentration into finding and collecting the best of rocks out there in the world. But there are also people in the world who pursue a hobby just because they think it is cool or because everybody else is doing it. There is no point in doing it because pursuing a hobby is like communicating with oneself, making a conversation with the deeper echelons of oneself and if a man is cheap enough to pursue Rock Collecting just because he thinks it is cool, that also talks a lot about the person.
